ex-71sl Question- extension part annoying?

hello everybody... i have a question for you fontopia ex71sl owners.... i do not always use the remote in the gym when i listen to my 'pod... i carry my 'pod in my pants pocket (i can't wear it on my arm- it's annoying). i was just wondering if i use the extenstion (without the remote), does the extra weight on the 'female' part of the extension plug causes a swinging motion and pull on the earphones? i'm reluctant to buy these for that reason, so i might go for the 51lp's.... but i want the white ones!

I clip the ipod onto my workout shorts, and use the extension... simply putting it down the back of my shirt, then tuck the excess into my waistband.. never any problems...

haven't had any problem with the 71's swinging at the gym...

The connection hits my hand while I jog. I prefer the LP instead. There is also a silver metal bob at the ear that swings into your check. go for the lp.

thanks for all the input.... i said ef-it and bought the shure e2c's. nobody really seemed to have any complaints about them... and i got them at guitar center for 80 bux.

i may buy the white sony 71sl's to have a short cord option when i use my remote...... (when the new apple lcd screen remotes come out in april)
