Repeat listings in Contacts after sync with Windows Contacts

I am attempting to sync my IPhone 3G with my Windows Contacts and for some reason it is creating duplicate entries in my contacts for some of the listings. If I open the contacts folder on my computer, the individual contacts are only listed once.

I have tried restoring the phone so no contacts were present, then attempted to sync it again and I still end up with repeats of several of the contacts.

Any ideas?

I'm using 3.0 on the phone and Windows 7 RC1 64bit

Is it creating exact duplicates, or a separate entry for each email address listed? My Outlook did that. I think it was a field mapping issue.

Exact duplicates. Right down to the photo for the contact.
