iPhone is all in CHINESE!

My dad recently bought an apple iphone, but made for the chinese market, I have set the language to English for the menus and messaging etc but when he goes on applications i.e. maps, it's still all in chinese :confused:

I was wondering if anyone knew how this could be helped??

Go to Setting>General>International, and make sure your lanaguage, voice control and region format are not set to chinese.

Or restore to english firmware? That may also work if above doesnt

Okay thank you both, I'll let you know if that works in a day or two he's on hoilday at the moment

I can't seem to find the option of general settings??
I don'y know maybe it's a fake :/
