Visual Voicemail Issues post 3.0

I'm not sure if this is just me or what but has anyone else had issues with their voicemail not notifying you of a new voicemail until hour(s) later? Ever since my 3.0 update, my voicemail has been severely ######ed (slow). Does anyone have a remedy for this or know why this might be happening?

i've also been having this problem. also, my phone is not allowing me to text certain people; people that i have texted before, but now cannot. i literally have ongoing conversations in my messaging screen that i now cannot continue. my phone tells me "unable to send text message", no matter how many times i try to resend it. But the voicemail is the most irritating... i found that if i power the phone off and back on then it will notify me that i have voicemail. but that shouldn't be required just to check my voicemail.

Have you tried restoring rather than just resetting? I haven't had any issues with 3.0 for visual voicemail or texting.

I am having the same issue with Voicemail. It's taking hours if not a day to notify me if at all. I'm noticing 3.0 is a bit glitchy. Most of it I chalk up to "electronics" but basic functionality of VM is not acceptable. Hopefully they're working on a fix.

Supposedly the 3.1 Beta was released to developers today.

I called AT&T customer service and they had to connect me to their technical support staff. They reset my account with the visual voicemail and texting, then had me type in this really long number/code and call it which did something to make my voicemail and texting work. Now it all works great and there are no issues.
