Been reading on the board for about 3 months now and just recently signed up. Really great forum you guys have here. I installed EuPod and tried to mp3gain my 6678 songs on my ipod. I had left my pc on, it was going along (about 1500 songs in) and then windows started scanning my ipod drive for errors (the blue screen like before xp loads) and i was wondering 2 things, 1) why did it do this 2) can i jus re mp3gain all my songs or will that affect the songs that were already mp3gained? I looked on here for this type of error but didnt come up with anything. Thanks in advance for ALL your help. take care.

1) Your PC crashed. Perhaps you have too many programs running.
2) Yes, just do it over. Again, don't run any other programs, your pc may not be able to handle it.

I ran the mp3gain overnight and when i woke up, the program wasnt open anymore. Once the process is complete, does it automatically close EuPod altogether? Or is it safe to assume that it probably had the same error again. I have a P4 2.4 Ghz, 1/2 a gig of memory, XP Pro all updates, and 120 gig hard drive. Any insight as to why this is still happening? I would think my computer is strong enough to handle it. Or maybe its the version of mp3gain in EuPod? I was thinking of just sharepodding all my music to my HD and mp3gaining on there and putting back on my ipod. Can someone tell me if this is a good idea or if not, have a better alternative? Please let me know thanks.
PS
Thanks for replying Darrell :)
