I posted a message before about my friends iPod not installing on ME. We have gone through that post you made on this forum but nothing seems to be happening. We followed the instructions and it told us to restart thecomputer and we did that, but when we started windows up again, nothing happened with the ipod. We then plugged the iPod into the computer using the USB to Firewire lead (he doesnt have firewire), and on My Computer it said removable storage, and we went to that and it was the iPod. The thing is that we dont know how to remove or add songs. it was orginally my ipod, and it has songs on it, and there is software on it. We downloaded ephpod, but when we run it, it doesnt say anythin about it recognising an ipod.

All we want to do is be able to add and remove songs.

I went to My computer, tools, and options, and pressed show hidden files. I then clicked on removable storage and then ipod control. Then music, and we saw loads of folders like fC001, fC002....

We went onto the 1st folder and deleted all the songs in it, and added a song. we then ejected the drive, and switched on the Ipod, but the songs that we deleted were still on the ipod, and the songs we put on werent.

Whats going on. he is only interested on deleting the songs, and putting some different ones on.

Please help e as it is really urgent. Does he need some firewire patch or something

many Thanks
Josh
