Hi people
I'd like to ask you some advice for headphones

The actual ones I use (original ipod nano 1g headphones) get out of my ear very frequently. I'm using them with lots of clothes, but there's no way to keep them sticked in my ears

I guess I should get some headphones with a lanyard, right? or maybe another kind of headphones with in earbuds?

Can any1 point me to some cool headphones on ebay with these specs?

Thanks a lot in advance, :shake:

Well if you want them to stay in your ears you should use in ear headphones they stay in better than the oem ipod headpones. i like the skullcandy ones best.

Oh... thanks for the advise kenichols29
I've never heard of skullcandy, but I see there're "tons" of it on ebay
I'll see reviews, opinions, etc.

Thanks again!

I just picked up a pair of Altec Lansing UHP336 (Rebranded Ultimate Ears Super Fi 3's) for $35.00 from Amazon and I'm really impressed with them.

For comparisons sake the other Canal phones I own are Ety ER-4P, Klipsch Image X10, Audeo Phonak PFE, and now these.

What really does the trick with these headphones is if you take the tubes out of the included gray foam eartips and put them into some Shure Black Olive foam tips so they'll fit on the headphone. Not hard to do at all and it improved the sound from these headphones immensely.

Good clarity and balance of sound and if you switch to the Black Olives you get some really nice Bass clarity that isn't over done. Not a basshead headphone but what I would say is accurate bass.

I found the stock tips to be sucktastic and they were decent with them but once I switched to the Olives I was really wow'd by them. Perform well above $35.00 IMO. The Black Olives will keep them in your ear and give you great isolation.

Hi cloverridge

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not looking for quality mainly but something that doesn't drop easily (or get out) from my ears

I know some in ear headphone should do the trick, but I've never tried in ear headphones :p

What price point are you trying to stay around?

With the Black Olives those phones will not fall out easily as long as you wear the right size foam tips. I run with all of mine size that is crucial to me that they don't come out.

I see ebay has tons of hong-kong, china & japan sellers which offer free shipping (or u$s3 max.). They also ship as gift.
I've bought some stuff and everything came to home without getting stuck on customs

So, going back to your question, I'm searching for something not more than u$s 30. I know some sellers from those locations I wrote have geniune stuff (checking their feedback, etc.)

The main purpose of this thread is to get some good brands and/or model suggestions for good in-ear headphones

Philips SHS8000 Premium Sound Earhook Headphones ~$30.00
Sony Mdr-As20J Active Style ~$15.00
Sound-Squared "SPORT" earphones ~$20.00

All three of these will stay put and are decent headphones. If a loop over the ear is an issue then I'd checkout some Sennheiser CX300's or Sony MDR-75's. Though with a silicon tip it's usually a bit of a crap shoot on how well it will fit in your ear since everyone's canal's are different which is why I suggested the top 3 and previously posted about the foam tips if a secure inner ear fit is a top priority.

All of those should be within your budget and meet your needs.

Ditto these, they absolutely can't be beat under $100. They stay in very well. I have a pair and a pair of Ultimate Ears SuperFi 3s (same headphones).

Very nice...happy to see someone else is enjoying them too! With the Shure Black Foam tips I have taken them up to a 6 mile run and I never had to mess with them. With the over the ear design I didn't notice any microphonics either.

Yes, the microphonics are nil on these, which is rare for IEMs. My previous set were the JBL 220s, which sounded quite good, and I really like the fabric cord (doesn't tangle so easily), BUT the microphonics were pretty bad.
