Hello. This is my first post! This forum seems nice. I am in deep doodoo. I received this ipod and the wifi box is grayed out. I have it jailbroken. I just need to know a s-t-e-p b-y s-t-e-p tutorial on how to use it. I don't even know where to start. I have done a ton of research in the forums and I cant find out where to begin. I am lost. So can anyone help me? Thanks! :)

I also could use an app (cydia, installer, or a windows program.) I am in need of help. I just need this to be fixed. And I need it to work with the iPod touch. Everything I see fixes the iPhone. Any advice?

im guessing it's grayed out in settings.
i've never heard of this happening, but it may be a hardware issue. Otherwise, i'd reccomend restoring (this deletes everything including jailbreak and restores to factory settings). if that dosent work, send it into apple through their website to get a new device. I'm guessing this is a new ipod covered by apples warranty still.
if it is grayed out in the upper left of your ipod, it may be a network issue, and if that is your problem, then i can't help you.

I just now (literally a second ago) restored it to the latest (2.2.1) software. It wont work. I don't see any icon in the upper left corner where it should be. Is there a way to fix this through any computer or cydia/installer software? I really need help. Sorry and thanks in advance! :shake:

Don't base it only on the wifi icon, after a full clean restore (not restoring the backup) using iTunes check for and choose a network in the settings menu. If your network's SSID is not hidden and can not see your network or any other close by network you can normally see then contact Apple. There is no software available that can fix a hardware issue.
