Hello,

I've got an iTouch 16gb 1G. I've had it for just under a year. For the past month or two, it has been restarting "randomly" when first connected to a computer (Mac Mini/iBook). So I'll connect it via USB, I'll get the black screen with the battery icon... about three seconds later the screen will cut off and then comes back on almost instantly with the silver Apple logo. So after the restart, I'll do a sync (no new music, or anything, just updating calendars, contacts, bookmarks), syncs fine, but incredibly slow; about 5mins. I'll only get this restarting half the time I connect to my computers. I had a iTouch G1 before my current G1 Touch (stolen), never had this problem. I've connected to other iTouch's (G1's) many many times to see if I can replicate the restart, no luck. I have the current gen. power adapter, have never had it restart with that. I've restored my iPod who knows how many times, doesn't seem to make a difference. I've also tried different USB cords, didn't make a difference either.

Any ideas? ...or anyone heard of this happening?
