iTouch problem

Hi,
About 2 weeks ago my pc crashed so I had to restore it. However, I didn't get the time to reinstall iTunes. So today, I was on my iTouch and it gave the logo with the iTunes so I downloaded iTunes and it said that I have to unlock my iPod on the screen. However, on my iPod's screen is shows the logo. So can anyone help me?

disconnect your ipod first. turn it on and unlock the screen. then reconnect the cable.
