I bet there's a lot of things a lot of users would like to see available once the iPod touch OS 3.0 comes out and so bluetooth becomes available.

I would like to see a bluetooth infrared transmitter, and (of course) the app to control it so that my iPod touch could be used as a remote control for my tv and DVD player.

I would also like to see a bluetooth car diagnostic plug-in that could relay the technical information from the car's diagnostics to my iPod.

I'd like a bluetooth enabled cordless phone base set (not cellphone) that would let me use my iPod to make phone calls over my land line.

Will there be free peer to peer texting? I hope so. Could there be a bluetooth swarm, so that text messages could bounce around campus until they got to their destination? I bet that might be complicated, but that would be very cool. I suspect a lot of texting happens between kids on the same campus, and a free p2p texting across a high school or college campus doesn't seem too outrageous.

Just some thoughts.

I don't see the Bluetooth bouncing text happening, especially since Bluetooth requires connections to each device seperatly. Just use AIM of something, especially if your on wifi for your campus.
I also don't see you using your cell phone for land lines. I have a device that takes all my home phones and syncs them to our 5th cell phone and use it as our home phone. We get a call on the cell and all the house phones ring, pretty sweet.
The remote thing could be nice, but there would have to be a high enough demand for a company to make the device, same goes to the cat readout
