That... Its hardware so I guess I have to send it in... its under 24hrs old. Which irritates me as QC SHOULD have caught this.

Ots worse now.. lol. Just turned it on 15m ago and the screen displays nothing but white multi colored lines (vertical length wise of the screen)... they are sending me a pre-paid box to ship it back to them in... if they try to pull a fast one... oooohhh... This has never been dropped... failed in under 15hrs from first charge. My guess... the battery expanded and pushed the LCD connector loose. Anyone else wanna take a guess?

Okay, I'm assuming you're getting the return box from NewEgg.
Was going to ask if you were getting a return box from Apple when you could attempt to return to a retail store.
No Tax + Free Shipping from NewEgg ftw

Ah well, I guess that's the nice thing to do.
Personally I'd have sent it to NewEgg (they give return boxes on requested RMA) and had them give me a new one. Don't know how long Apple takes to repair, but I have the 30 day return policy and plan to use it.

Well, Apple told me 4-5 day turn around time from the time its handed to FedEx to ship to Apple. So... if it leaves Monday... I expect it Thursday or Friday. (I am hoping Thursday.... :p ) The only sad thing is that I have to be there to sign for the package upon return of my Itouch. Soo... yeah...

and, Newegg doesn't offer the 30day thing with the new itouch's. Just the refurbished ones. I wanted the warranty because I know how crappy Apple's Quality Control really is. This just goes to prove it.

I guess you're right, no return policy from NewEgg, bad
Your 2nd statement is just confusing when related to the first
