Ipod Touch screen not working

I charged my Ipod Touch 2ndG 32gb last night, and when i went to use it this morning, the touch screen didnt pick up when i tried to slide to unlock. All the other buttons work, like double tapping to get the pause/play bar up and tapping the power button to go to the slide to power off bit, but i cant use the touch screen for some reason. After about 5 mins of trying, it breifly let me unlock the sreen, but it wouldnt then recognise that i was touching the screen.

Ive soft reset it about 10 times now and nothing...

Im traveling around Australia so i have no pc i can do anything with :(

try a hard reset. it is usually best to restore back to the factory settings and see if the problem still exists. but considering your situation, you might want to connect to a pc at an internet cafe to backup everything though. That way you can restore your files and just delete your profile from that computer afterwards.

I agree.. try resetting it. :)
