Newbie: Can iTouch pick up internet through a bluetooth connection from phone

Hi all,

I have two phones, a Blackberry (Verizon) and an HTC (Sprint) Mogul phone. I was wondering if the itouch can connect to the internet via a bluetooth signal from the data connection in the phone...ie the phone transmits the data signal to the ipod touch.

is this possible? and feel free to yell at me if this has been posted like 100x...i'm being lazy tonight and didn't feel like searching through all the forums.

You're trying to tether the Verizon/Sprint phones to a iPod touch VIA bluetooth, and this cannot happen until at LEAST 3.0 when the bluetooth gets opened up.
Now for jailbreaking options, I couldn't tell you personally
