Prepaid Iphone 3g

Now that You can Buy a Contract Free Iphone 3g Does that mean i could just stick my prepaid sim card in it and go?

If u can buy such a phone from AT&T then I don't see no reason whatsoever why u couldn't do PayGo.

I bought a prepay iPhone from O2, stuck my old contract sim in and I was away... I did change to the iPhone tariff as the data charges can be alot on an iPhone so make sure you cover that.

i would ask but im afraid they would say no you cant like they did with the first iphone before they said you could

Afraid? So what if they said no, just turn around and go on with your day, it's not like they're going to attack you
On the realistic side, the only reason I see them not allowing it is if you can't do a data plan with prepaid cards, and since I don't do prepay I can't tell you. If the store is to far away give them a call, it's painless

I took the sim card out of my pay as you go phone and put it into my iPhone 3G and it worked with no problems whatsoever. I did this after reading an article describing how a journalist done the same thing and it worked on her iPhone.
