I'm thinking about using my iPhone without the case, though I'll leave on the screen protector because helps keep the smudges off the glass. A case gives a better grip on the iPhone, but I'm thinking that it's sometimes just adds weight to the phone and takes away from the original design of the phone.
Experience of others on this topic?

I used to use a case, tried a couple to see which I liked the most, but I just ended up removing them all, even my InvisibleShield because scratches really don't bother me anymore. Devices come and go, and if I drop my iPhone, only some cases will do anything to protect it, and those usually add bulk.
Only thing I have now is a pouch thing for when I put it in my pocket, since I don't care for lint getting in my headphone jack and dock connector, and I don't use it often.
If you don't mind scratches, and you're a careful person, it doesn't really matter.

Yeah, I have a belt pouch too that I use. I have yet to drop my phone, but I guess that would be a consideration. But after the case off today, I'm finding that back of the phone is collecting dust. So we'll see.

my phone wears a case just cause i can be a lil clumsy with my phones. I use the Incase leather case with a protective crystal clear screen cover. I've dropped my phone once since I've purchased it a few months ago and because of the case it has no dings or scratches.
That's my story.

I used to use a CapsuleNeo, but got bored of it pretty quick, even though it's a great case. Like ReyZero, I stopped minding scratches on the phone provided they're not too noticeable, and I'm a pretty careful person so basically, no need for a case anymore. Smudges do tend to get annoying though...

That's why we wear shirts! :D
The case issue for me was mostly docking, since even with that SwitchEasy adapter, the slightest shake would cause the iPhone to unsync and resync pausing all music, and sometimes when I dock it it'll say my device wasn't compatible and ask to put in airplane mode making me redock it. Just got way to annoying
My only problem was keeping my iPhone in my pocket since mine are filled with lint all day, so I bought the Boa case which is just a leather slip case. Note, they said it wipes off the screen and such, but it really doesn't, and it's a nice enough fit that you can't rub the case to clean. Oh well, back to my shirt.
