Nike + question

Hey i was wondering if the Iphone does also support this new nike + ipod. Cause i would really like to have it since i train soccer.

but why not on the iPhone i mean... isn't the iPhone just like the iPod touch??? By that i'm refering to the hardware

I have a nano and the nike +. I also have an iphone and no, it is not compatible. I, like you am also frustrated by this.

The iPhone isn't as new as the Nano or iPod touch, so it doesn't have the compatibility.
The real question is, will the 3.0 software fix this issue
