Hi guys, I recently upgraded my I-Pod to verison 2.1, and since then have had some problems, such as theI-Pod saying it was safe to disconnect when I didn't choose to do so through windows.
The first thing I did before this all happened was uninstall the I-Pod software from my PC. I had no idea this would wipe my entire I-Pod hard drive. I use Ephpod to manage my music library, and I then disconnected the firewire cable when the I-Pod said it was safe to disconnect, (but windows thought it was still attached).
To my horror when I browsed through the I-Pod the entire library was empty :(
I tried using the "probe I-Pod for lost music" to no avail, so I was hoping you could tell my why this happened and if there was any way I can get my songs back.
