any people from Poland who can help me?

I going to Warsaw this weekend and some friends has told me that you can buy unlocked iPhone 3G in Poland, but Apples list says they are locked.
I read online that they can unlock it in the store when you buy it?

Any one has first hand information if it's possible?

I'm not from Poland, but my friend bought a while ago an iPhone 3G in Poland.

He bought it at Vodafone, not the Apple store.
But there is a catch, he had to initiate the iPhone with a Vodafone SIM before he could switch SIMs, lucky for him he found one.

This was like 5 month ago, so I recommend you ask at the provider's store, just in case.
