TV out for watching videos from iphone to tv

G'day, I had a 32gig video ipod with a cable with the red white and yellow rca leads on one end and one plug that plugged into the headphones of the video ipod, and Icould watch my movies etc on my tv no worries..

but with my new iphone 3G using the same cable, i can only get audio thru the tv , no pic, how do i get the video on the tv??

You have to buy the cable that plugs into the dock port. Apple changed this with the Classic and it carried over to the iPod Touch and iPhone as well. You can buy the cable in question from Apple for about $30.
