New Phone?

I am really tempted by the iphone, i have had an ipod touch for over a year now and i just love the way everything about it "just works", the screen flow, the app store etc.

The contract on my current phone is up and i have been researching a new phone online and i cant really see past the iphone. However is there to be a new model released in the coming months, or will it just be software updates for the current models? Some sites i have looked at seem to hint at a new phone being released around June time?

Pretty sure a new phone will be launched in June, and the current iPhone will be able upgrade to the new 3.0 software, although we are unaware of what the new iPhone has over the old one. The obvious answers are things like speed and memory, and the high rumors are a matte backing instead of the gloss, and possibly video recording.

If you can wait a few months, it'll probably pay off.
