My iPodTouch just went weird on me. The screen won't turn on or anything. I plugged it in and charged it but nothing happened. I connected it to my computer and it came up and said it needed to be reformatted. I tried to do this but there is an error with the formatting. I just upgraded to the newest version of itunes and now the iPod Touch isn't even recognized at all anymore. Any help would be awesome.

Greetings,

That is weird, sorry to hear it. If you have tried everything, have you tried putting it into DFU? I would need to know what OS you are using because Mac OS X 10.5.6 actually makes it a lot harder to restore the iPod this way (there are workarounds).

If you are able to, hold both the power button and home button until you see an apple icon. At that point, release the power button (but not the home button), it should then show the iTunes icon, requiring you to connect it to your computer.
