Maybe you have seen it in a local mall or shopping center. There is a stand that sells screen accessories for your phone or even iPod, even touch - called Shield Zone.

Do you have the ShieldZone protector on your iPod? If so, how do you feel the value of this item holds up, for the price, as compared to the lesser expensive removable screen protector accessories on EBay and online stores.

Discuss.

I did a quick search, and turns out ShieldZone is InvisibleShield, and I'm currently using their product on my iPhone, and I love it.
To note, you can either get a front shield, or full body.
Value comes to more of what you want,
If you plan to use a case, just use the stock screen shield, as it's probably going to hold up just fine. If your case doesn't come with one, the shield is a great addition, plus it has a unique feel to it (similar to an orange peel).

I think it's like $15 for just the front, and seeing how they give a lifetime warranty, it's a pretty decent deal. I ripped the back shield off my phone as I hated how much lint it attracted, and I wanted a case for shock protection anyway.

All in all, it's a great product, but it depends more on what you want. There are similar products that are cheaper, such as FullBodyFilm and BodyGuardz.

I have InvisibleShield on my LG Voyager because that touch screen would scratch pretty easy, plus it gets thrown into pockets unprotected a lot more then my iPod Touch. I didnt put a screen protector on my Touch because I like the feel of the glass screen and it wont scratch near as easy as other touch screens. InvisibleShields work very well!

I have been using my Touch without any screen protector since September. I carry it in my pocket, backpack, and briefcase. I have never scratched the screen. It is extremely durable. Tried a few screen protectors but they were more hassle than they were worth.
