Im looking for a new pair of earphones for metal, I have the Sennheisers CX400s but they are not good for metal.
So what are the best earphones for metal, but also trance / classic etc. For around £100-£200

I'm a techno / trance freak, and I LOVE my Ultimate Ears EB (click the link in my Signature).
They do make some things sound weird, such as pop, but it's not terrible, just different.
I listen to all types of music, classic being one, and metal, and they sound just fine. May sound strange that classic comes fine, but I'm talking symphony with large bass. Sound pyramid, more bass, less treble!

What metal bands do you listen to?
Is it clear? I.e. not distorted, and cant handle more than one cymbal?

I just put on Pandora and listen from there, although the only metal band I have on my iPod is like 3 DragonForce songs.
Sounds are clear, not distorted, and yes the crashes are not static'd out.
Again though, the sound is bass driven, for example I use my headphones on my computer, and when I chat on ventrilo everyone's voice sounds deeper. It's not a HUGE difference, but it's noticeable.
