Play a song, then shuffle?

I just upgraded from an ipod classic to the ipod touch, and I used to be able to pick an initial, specific song in my playlist, and after that song, it would go to shuffle. Now, when I pick a song, after that song it goes to the next one on the list. Is there a way to add this functionality to ipod touch?

Sure, just tap the screen after starting the first song. If the criss-cross arrows to the right of the scrubber bar are blue, then Shuffle is on and the next song will be randomly chosen. If the arrows are white, then Shuffle is off, so just tap the arrows to make them blue.
