Touch, Wifi and sprint mobile broadband
Kinda cool to use cradlepoint evdo broadband wireless router to create a wifi for your ipod touch, anywhere. Any of you know a way to directly connect the ub sprint compass 597 modem to the ipod touch. That would be the ultimate in ipod accessories in my opinion.
Any insight you could offer?

There is no way to connect ANY type of modem to an iPod touch. The iPod touch can get internet from it's wi-fi antenna and no other source. Basically, you would have to go through a pain to get the internet using your Sprint modem. You would either have to carry around a compatible wi-fi router or a notebook. A notebook could be used to create a wi-fi signal that your iPod touch could connect to.
You would be better off purchasing a netbook (not an iPhone) if you wanted to get the internet anywhere using your Sprint card. You could purchase one for $300 that would last around 6 hours on a single charge. Much better than trying to get the internet everywhere using an iPod touch and better than paying for an iPhone that will give you about 3 hours of internet browsing.
Not something you want to hear but you cannot do what you want, sorry.
