I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for. Did these tracks have the lyrics before you transfered them to the iPod?

You use iTunes to edit and add the contents of the ID3 tags of the music files. iPods do not read this info directly off the files on the iPod but from a Data Base file iTunes puts on the iPod for this purpose. I'm not 100% sure if this is the case with lyrics but I suspect this is how they do it here too.

There may be software that can automate process, but most don't work very well and I have not heard of any that will do it to songs on the iPod. There are AppleScripts that can help Mac users however these do not work for Windows users.

If you want to add the lyrics you can search the net for the song name adding "lyrics" to the search and you should find the words to your songs. Right click the song in iTunes selecting Get Info and you can copy and paste this into the "Lyrics" tab. You will need to re-sycn the iPod for the changes to transfer.

Itunes store file validator (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t51708.html) will automatically do lyrics. It also does a lot more, so finding the lyrics part can be tough.
