I have downloaded free apps from itunes... they show up under "apps" on itunes... but when I sync they do not transfer to my ipod. (And I can't access my WiFi) I don't know much about this stuff, but want to get my money's worth out of the device. It has 8G and the latest software downloaded on it. Detailed instructions would be appreciated... "Dumb it down" for me :) All suggestions would be greatly apprecitated!!!
Thanks!

How do you mean that you can't access Wi-Fi? Do you mean you have no networks you can connect to, or that the iPod isn't working properly?

When you start iTunes and plug your iPod in you get that screen that comes up with a picture of your iPod. There are some tabs above it that say 'Music', 'Video', 'Photos' etc... click on the one that says 'Apps' or 'Applications' if you clock on that you get a list of all the applications you downloaded from iTunes with two checkboxes above it. Click on the 'Sync All applications...' checkbox, and then click on the 'Sync' button at the bottom like you normally would. It should all work as normal then.

Maybe your computer is not authorized to sync applications. Go to the help tab in itunes and check how to authorize your computer.
