Problem!

I took my ipod off the iDock and when I put it back on I saw that it restarted and when it came back to the menu there is the dark black line going across the screen... This is the 2nd time this happen, the 1st time I took it back and got a new one so this ipod is only about a week old... Does anyone else have this problem?

Does it say "Ok to disconnect" when you remove it?

its on the iDock not pluged into my computer so I've never seen it say that only if its pluged to my computer
