People seem to hate the fact people use wood, such as the iWood cases.
I think they're kind of cool, but greenies get angry, even though they print newspapers instead of going pure digital.

Really? With the size of earbuds - you could make tens of thousands of pairs from a single tree. Do greenies get angry when someone makes a chair or a table?

Probably, again, I rather like the style, but wood is heavier.

Don't object to the wood as much as the %&^$* long and stiff strain relief.
From the pix, those looks like fake woods.
If greenies have prob with these, they would blow a head casket with a pair of ivory.

They're in my ears so I don't pay much attention to their looks, although I did post one sexy pair if I do say so myself.
Personally I like the looks of my Shure E3G just because they're very simplistic, and tiny, where as my UE EB are like steel rods going into my head.

i think the apple in ear buds look pretty slick. plain, simple but still have some style.

Personally i really like the industrial design of my Atomic Floyd Hidefdrums like the old Vmodas but more refined in appearence.
