Brief message "USB Device not recognized... "

Have any of you seen this? When I plug my iPod into my 4-pin firewire port everything works great.. When I use the USB 2.0 port I will see a brief error stating "USB Device Not Recognized".

After less than 1 second the message goes away, and everything works fine. And I get hi-speed file transfers, too...!

Anyone else seeing this? Any thoughts on it?

I'm guessing it's a timing error in the USB subsystem in XP...

I get this message all the time, I just ignore it.

Yea I kinda figured I could, too... Probably some subtle timing bug between the Ipod services and the USB system in XP. I'd *happily* just use Fireware all the time, but my firewire port isn't powered... :(
