In response to the original question: What are everyone' favorite skullcandy headphones/earphones?
Not that popular around these parts, to be honest - you probably won't get a massive reponse.
Personally, on a bang-for-buck basis, the Smokin' Buds are pretty good, but after you've used higher-end IEM's you'll realise that there's a lot missing from the sound out of these wee things and that Skull Candy are more jewelry for the teen masses than serious earphones or IEMs.
In saying that I have two pairs of Smokin' Buds.

Owned by the same company, same parts, different name.

it's quite simple, for the price, you can see where the money was spent in manufacture - on how they look, not how they sound. if they are more expensive, more people will actually bother to find out what they sound like ;)
do you like good sound or just fashion?

For $100 you can get much better sounding headphones and earphones than Skullcandy. I don't see the attraction at all - they even look foolish to me, like cheap plastic toys, but maybe I am just getting old.
Buy youself a pair of Sennheisser PX100s instead - for $40 you will have a vastly better sounding headphone than any Skullcandy model, with discrete good looks.

I have a pair of Skullcandys. They are by far the best bang for the buck head phones. They have decent bass and beat the OEM iPod headphones but thats it. I dont listen to my iPod w/ headphones much so I can't justify paying $100+ for some baller headphones.

The Skullcrushers were an experience, not a good experience, but they are an experience!

Hi. I use Skullcandy Inked for working out. Go through a pair every few months and the price is right for that. Have Shure e3c and bose OE Triport for other listening pleasure

I've got the lowriders right now, and they sound really good for $40 head phones, and they come with a life time replacement warranty, so they end up being a pretty good deal.

Are Skullcandy's generally comparable to the quality of the Vmoda Vibes? I have the Vibes and I love them.
I've been thinking of getting a fullsized set of cans and was actually considering the Skullcandy Ti, but the reviews I read about it say it sounds okay but has weak bass -- and I'm a bass head. I'm getting too much feedback that the Skullcandys just have bass and nothing else so I've been rethinking and instead opting to spend on some Audiotechnicas or even a Bose.
