1st gen iPhone -

I bought a used 1st gen iPhone to use on T-Mobile. The auction only included the iPhone and USB cable, no charger/dock or earphones.

1. Will my iPod mini's charger work with the 1st gen iPhone (Apple's site is clear it WON'T work with the 3G iPhone, but doesn't say it WILL work with the 1st gen)

2. Any recommended earphones? - I've always hated the mini's and I'm under the impression they won't work for phone calls, anyway.

Just find any straight jack headphones with a microphone, such as the Ultimate Ear vi series, or the Griffin Tunebuds.
