what is "show to /cc" on/off on i phone?

hey guys, what does this mean? its under settings for the email group. ive tried it on/off and dont see any changes...

Setting whether to show To and Cc labels in message lists

From the Home screen choose Settings > Mail, then turn Show To/Cc Label on or off.
If Show To/Cc Label is on, To http://km.support.apple.com/library/APPLE/APPLECARE_ALLGEOS/HT1330/305883_to.png or Cc http://km.support.apple.com/library/APPLE/APPLECARE_ALLGEOS/HT1330/305883_cc.png next to each message in a list indicates whether the message was sent directly to you or you were Cc'ed.
Basically if it's [To] it means it was direct to you. If it's [CC] then it was a copy (such as a school sending TO your parents, but a CC to you.)

Ok I think I get it basically shows u if it was a direct email or sent copy?

Pretty much, although I'm not sure if multiple e-mail (such as invitations) count as Cc or To.
