Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows why I can no longer see the DCIM folder on my Iphone using windows explorer. Previously, I was able to click on the iphone in MyCOmputer and navigate to the DCIM folder and I was able to copy and paste photos into this folder and they would become available on my iPhone. However, recently, I can no longer find the DCIM folder. When I click on the iphone in mycomputer, it bring me to a folder displaying all the images in my camer roll folder. I am able to copy the photos to my computer, but I am not able to past or move any pictures into this folder. Also, when I try and delete a picture , it freezes my phone and I have to do a reboot. Does anyone know how to make the DCIM folder available in windows explorer again?
Thanks in advance,

I dont know when it happened but you are correct you can no longer copy items to this folder. At least I cant on my phone. As far as the phone freezing try to delete one or 2 pics at a time. I noticed when I tried to either delete or move out more than a couple of pictures my phone would also freeze. Apple must have snuck in the change in one of he updates recently.

You must be right. I noticed this right after I perfomred an update yesterday to 2.2.1. It was nice not having to use Itunes for adding photos. Anyone else experience this?

I just plugged my iPhone in and can see the folder, but take note I did notice 1 thing since the day I had my iPhone
If there are NO pictures in the camera roll, the folder will not appear, so if you want to copy photos into it, there must be at least 1 in there already.
