vcard / contacts help

hi-

i am trying to transfer my contacts from my palm to the mini. i read the directions about exporting to vcards but when i select all in the palm desktop software and then export as vcard then add the vcard to the ipod contacts folder it only winds up showing one contact.

do i need to export each contact to a vcard one by one? if so that will take forever. is there an easy way to do this?

I went through the same thing, and I think I've solved it this very afternoon. Instead of "highlighting all" and exporting contacts via the File menu, try right-clicking on the highlighted contacts and select "Forward as vCard . . ." It seems to have worked. I haven't imported this into my iPod yet, but I looked at the file that was created, and it had all of my contacts. If you can try this now, please report back and let me know if it works.

thanks for trying but i tried that as well (i thought i had it fixed as well) but it doesnt do the trick. only one contact shows up. not sure what to try next :(
