i just recently got the program dvdfab from a friend of mine.
i have used it to rip an episode of smallville from season 6, the italian job, castle of cagliostro, and three episodes of futurama.
everything's working pretty well, they all play fine in itunes, except.....futurama wont go onto my ipod touch.
i have no idea why.
help?

Did you tag these videos as TV Shows in iTunes? If so check the iPods sync settings in iTunes while the touch is connected. TV Shows are set to only sync un-watched episodes by default, any show that has been watched will not transfer. Either change the TV Shows sync settings or right click the episodes in iTunes and mark them as new to reset the playcount.

Try different movies and shows, because your ipod is trying to tell you those selections are horrible.

Jokes aside, check how they are labeled in the info sections. Also, see if you have any other ipods that can play them

they are in the right format, i know for sure.
and ive sorted them as movies or as tv shows, and as new on either one.
nothing changes.

also, my ipod video wont play the futurama things at all, in fact, it says not compatible.
which makes no sense, since i used the same program for everything.
and the format is exactly the same.

Just because it is an mp4 file does not make it iPod compatible, it must meet other requirements such as bitrate, video size, audio format as well as other factors. It has also been found that some conversion software works better on some systems than others, especially on Windows, so try other programs. Video may play in iTunes and still not be iPod compatible.
