Something wrong when I start apps...

I have a new 16G IPOD Touch. I have the normal number of apps, and twice now I have had the same glitch. When I select an app, the screen changes to the app, but then immediately reverts to the home screen.

The last time this happened, I reset and resynced, but I don't want to do this over and over. Any thoughts as to what is happening?

Hi,
I had exactly the same problem on mine. Don't worry there seems to be a glitch, but not a serious one.
Here's how I fixed it (with some help from here)

1. Delete the offending Apps
2. Synch
3. Reinstall apps (as you've paid for them it won't charge you again)

It should work fine after that, mine certainly did. I've not had to reset or restore it either.

How did you figure out the offending apps? I only have two or three (free) apps in addition to the ones that come with the IPOD. Would you care to share which one(s) you found were giving you the problem?
