Hey, i just went through my ipod about a week ago and made sure all my albums had artwork...when viewing from "Album" view now...several of them appear as black squares...
why did this happen
and how can i fix it?
i tried changing a few...and one of them changed for good, the other defected ones are still black :shake:

Do you manually manage the Touch? If so, did you add artwork to the songs on your Touch or to the versions in your library? Always add artwork to the songs in your library, then drag them to your iPod. Sometimes you can get away with adding artwork directly to the song on your iPod, but often it leads to problems like this. If this is what's going on, then you may need to delete the affected songs from your iPod, add the artwork to the songs in the library, then add the songs back to your iPod.
If you auto-sync and you're seeing this problem, you might want to Restore the Touch, which will erase it and you'll have to re-load everything (though the Touch settings should be restored from your last backup).
