What the hell? You can't manually manage Apps???

I got a new computer and had my iPod set to "Automatically Sync Apps". Well since my new computer has 0 apps on it, I downloaded a new one right now and was hoping I can just drag & DROP it to my iPod, but it only gives me the option of syncing my App collection.

But that would mean I'd lose ALL of the apps I downloaded on my old computer!!! MANY OF WHICH I paid for. $$$$$.

Please tell me I need to relax and there's a way around this. Otherwise I'm furious.

Uhmmm....it this a trick question? Why not move all of your Apps from the old computer (or your backup drive) to the new computer?

a few things to note, is ur computer authorized? is it set to manually manage stuff and that setting is in the applications tab.

Relax and RTFM. a) you can just download directly on your Touch, and not go anywhere near your computer, b) as above, just copy from your old computer, or c) redownload them. You don't have to pay again (assuming you are using the same iTunes account as your old computer)
