Has anyone used the CPW service to install the ice link solution? I saw this advertised on
http://www.ihavetohave.it/acatalog/ICE-Link_Honda.html
Also, I have an S2000, would like to know if anyone else has installed - photos appreciated.

I fitted mine into my VW myself, no problems at all and it took less than 30 mins, including unpacking, removing HU and fitting the ice link.
The hardest bit is deciding where you want to run the cable to the ipod.

If you don't mind, I've a few questions about the kit.
What do the connections actually look like?
(I'm a complete amateur here) - there's obviously a loom type thing that goes in the back of the car head unit, so then I'll have to feed the wires through to glovebox, ashtray or wherever I choose, but what then?
The website says:
"The interface includes a Firewire socket enabling your iPod to be charged with your existing Firewire or dock cable."
Does that literally mean that I can use my existing dock cable for both audio and power connections? Does that mean that I'll get true line out audio rather than have to use the headphones?
Finally, I'd be interested in whether the fwd/rew buttons on your hi-fi (or steering wheel remote) actually do work and move the ipod tracks etc.
Thanks
Stoatie

I'm planning to have it fitted because I am likely to damage the HU or car, I'd rather have it done professionally.
I haven't seen the kit but did place my order last night as per the link in the original thread. It is currently out of stock but I expect delivery by the end of the month.
I will come back to the forum with photos and feedback on the item and service I received from CPW.

There is a short loom that plugs into the cd changer socket on the headunit, the other end pugs into the aux adaptor. From the aux adaptor is a cable that runs to the "ice link". This is about the size of a small cigar and this contains a firewire port, running from this is the cable that plugs into thet headphone/remote socket on the ipod. I was wary of having the audio from the headphone output rather than line out but really the sound quality is excellent.
The controls on the head unit (or steering wheel if you have them) can control the skip track/reverse but obviously you need to still use the ipod to access playlists etc. Turning on the car stereo turns the ipod on. You use your original fireaire cable to charge the ipod.
