Connecting IPOD Touch to my wireless network

Hi Guys

I would like to connect to my IPOD Touch to my own WEP protected wireless network. If i try to connect to a neighbours network it asks for a password - which is what you would expect. But when i try to connect to mine it says "Unable to join the network 'my network here'"

My wireless network is set to 'must require password for access'/ So, i cant work it out..!

What type of encryption are you using?

What type of WEP encryption? I guess I should have further specified.

right. just try other kinds of encryption of your wireless network. maybe itouch can't recognize such encryption.

I'd switch to WPA or WPA2 if your router supports either. Much easier to setup and far more secure.

Try typing in the WEP number for the password.

I took down the password on my router. It was too much of a pain to type in all of those charachters on the touch keyboard, it's hard enough on a regular keyboard
