Hopefully this is an easy one for those in the know - I am going for an iPhone, so will need to sell my iPod Touch.
It's 7 months old, had a case on since the moment the box opened, so I can honestly say it's in A1 condition and obviously I would flash the firmware etc so it is as new.
a) What is it worth?
b) Where would you suggest selling it?
Thanks!

1. I don't know. Is it running the latest firmware (version 2.2)? Does the battery still last as long as Apple's advertised numbers?
2. I can give you an idea of what I sold my 1G 16GB iPod touch for. The back of the iPod was slightly scratched but the screen was not scratched. It was still getting about 24 hours of audio playback on a single charge and about 5.5 hours of video playback on a single charge. I saw that most 1G 16GB iPods in my condition were going for about $220 (on eBay and on Amazon.com's marketplace) so I sold mine for a flat $200 just to get rid of it (the price came out to $200 by the time shipping was included). It appears that the average price for a 1G 8GB iPod touch is about $160-$170. You can always mark it for $150, that will ensure that your iPod does not sit in limbo. Many people who have their similar iPods marked at $175 and above don't sell them. So I would go for $150 if you want to sell it quickly or $165 if you don't mind it sitting there for a month or two. I don't know if $15 would be worth waiting one or two months.
