Hi All,
Thought i'd tell you a sad story about my iTouch.. with a happy ending.
Dumb me dropped it (on the coffee table corner- of course smashed the screen)
After searching this forum, went to google and found australianmp3repairs dot com dot au
Easy to use, went to web site and filled in stuff, as intructed sent in iPod (Australia Post took 5 days to get it there), got an email on 5th day said they had got it, then 15 mins later got SMS with quote, calld them , paid and got email with Australia Post tracking number details and got back my baby 2 days later.
Was so happy I sent in my dead video, well not really dead, but would not sync with itunes (said restore) and about on iPod said no music, they fixed it with music on board, same good service.
They said there were some tools to reload your itunes from the iPod. ? hijack and transcopy, anybody used them?
Let me know if you have had any success, they backed up by pod, so I would have a fallback for 60days if I screwed up.
