I've had my Touch for about 6 months and have had no issues with email. I use comcast. Today I noticed that I can view new messages, but when I send a message from my Touch email app, it acts like it was sent, but no one ever receives the message. I get no error message saying anything about the email being rejected.
I have tried to send a message to myself. I get no error message, but I do not receive the message I sent to myself.
Does anyone know why this would happen after 6 months?

Maybe a problem with your ISP. Hiccups all the time, not uncommon.

How are you sending mail? Using the IMAP mail client, a browser, or something else?
Big ISPs have various ways to block spam, and if you are not actually connected to their network (i.e. at home) they will probably not send mail at all on your behalf. (Spammers do that) Also, keep in mind it's possible that Comcast got on a "spammer" netblock list and it is just coincidence that your test emails all use the same spam filtering.
Some places use "pop-from" authentication where they will let you send mail briefly after you check mail successfully. As far as I know, Comcast does not do that.
It could happen at any time because all mail providers are constantly changing stuff around to stay secure and keep spammers off their systems.

Comcast has p'bly shut down your port 25; they've been doing this all over since about 2005. Use port 587 and authentication (your comcast email address and password). Comcast says they require ssl for authentication, but it's not needed.
