I never had an ipod before so I wanted to know if i bought the touch would I be able to transfer all my music from my computer onto it without buying any of it from itunes. Also as long as your around a wireless router you get internet access aswell?

The iPod is compatible with mp3 and mpeg-4 AAC audio files (to name a few). You do not need to purchase music from the iTunes Store in order to copy it over to your iPod. You can rip your audio CDs and get music from other sources such as the Amazon mp3 store.
You will get the internet when around a wireless router only if the router is emitting a compatible signal. For example, if a router is emitting an 802.11n only signal, the iPod touch won't pick it up. The iPod touch is compatible with the two most common network types (802.11B and 802.11G) along with common encryption methods so you shouldn't have any issues.
Just know that some Lynksys routers have issues with the iPod touch.
