I was updating one of my apps and its stuck at about 50% and all it says is waiting...
Anyone ever experience this? Do I need to restart my iphone or something?

I would start with rebooting the iphone, and if that doesn't work then just connect to itunes download the app and install from the PC. It will override the phone's installation.
On a side note, I'm wondering how Apple intends to handle the user not wanting to update an app on the phone. For example, more and more frequently the updates are language fixes or features I don't care about. So if I were to ignore these updates I would like the numbered badge to go away that informs me there is an update.

looked like restarting it worked. Thanks!
Yeah i don't know how to get rid of that number if you don't update. Is there a reason your against updating? It only takes about a minute.

Well it's not the time to update I'm worried about, but more what is included with the update. For example, some of the free apps are starting to introduce advertisements as "updates" without changing much else. When I have an app that works fine and is free of advertising there really isn't a need to update. It would just be nice to have an option to "ignore update" or something like that.

i agree that most iphone apps are not really worth updating unless you really know what's new there. actually for such small app on iphone, i delete some if i don't like it after buying.

-I regret updating that Aurora Feint game.-
My favorite game turned extremely sour :(
Outside of stupid decisions like that, I don't see the need to ignore updates though. Maybe I just proved my own point, who knows
