Ipod plays same song repeatedly

Whenever I play music on my i[od touch, it simply plays the same song repeatedly until I manually move it on to the next one. This happens whether I'm playing albums or playlists.

Any ideas?

You must have the repeat one song option toggled on.

While the song is playing, tap once on the album cover and a little toolbar will drop down. On the left side, you'll see what looks like two arrows pointing to each other. If they are blue and/or shows a little "1", keep tapping on them until they are white. That will turn off repeat. The little "1" indicates to repeat that one song. If they are blue, without the little "1", that indicates to repeat that album, and of course, if they are white, then the repeat function is turned off. Hope that helps (wish I had way to grab screenshots from my Touch - would make it so much easier to show things like this to people!)

To take a screenshot just press and hold the home button then press the sleep/wake button and release. You will see the screen flash white. The pictures appear in the photo section under camera roll.
