I have been reading the posts regarding FM units. It seems that people who are transmitting from the line level audio (through the doc connecter), are realizing better results then those transmitting from the headphone jack.
Also, could some confirm if using the line level signal will eliminate the engine noise that some experience when connected through a hardwire (to a front aux port or CD changer port)?

Anytime you use a line level signal as opposed to a headphone out, it's going to sound better. Except for using headphones of course.
