When ever I buy tracks on my iPod Touch via the itnues store they do not come up when I connect to my computer.
The 'Purchased' playlist is empty and I've lost the tracks.
It's happened with two albums now...any ideas how I can get them back??? How can I recover my paid for music?
Thanks in advance.

There is a menu option called "transfer purchases" in iTunes...sorry don't have iTunes at work so I can't check the exact sequence. Anyway, have you tried that when your iPod is connected?
Are you manually syncing or autosyncing?
Also, in iTunes, have you tried "check for purchases"

Thanlks for the suggestions...yeah they're not in the 'purchased' section and as for the 'transfer' options well I could do that the 1st time I connect the iPod (the tracks are there) however if I don't do this first time then when I disconnect the iPod the tracks have then dissappeared.
I suppose the lesson here is to ALWAYS sync tracks to your iTunes the first time you re-connect your iPod to your comp. after a purchase.
Pain in the arse though as I now have to buy albums a second time round...surely there's a way of getting them back??? Help anyone?!!

When you connect there should be a purchased on touch listing in iTunes under purchases. If it isn't then check the purchases folder in iTunes for the songs.
If you can't find them then contact iTunes customer service not re purchase the items.

honeybee - I got in touch with the support at Apple and they allowed me to re-download the dissappearing albums! Very kind of them I may add.
Lesson for the future hey - TRANSFER 1ST TIME YOU CONNECT IPOD BACK TO COMPUTER!
Thanks to all those who helped out.
Cheers
